Mike Mather
Mr. Mather after graduating from Brunel University, London, with a Joint Honors in Exercise Physiology and Economic Geography, spent the next decade working in the European financial markets for S&P and Morgan Stanley, delivering data solutions to the trading rooms of investment banks.
In the early 2000s Mr. Mather turned his focus towards the internet and software markets, building businesses that delivered enterprise solutions to medium and large enterprises, focused on data management. Then pivoting to lead a software firm that developed a market-leading data virtualization solution that continues to solve an enterprise’s data asset management challenges.
Recently co-founding Traust Data, Mr. Mather has developed the methodologies to support the use of Data as an Asset. This has been achieved by wrapping the data with security, risk mitigation, asset management, and a range of analytics capabilities underpinned by state-of-the-art software. The Data as an Asset solution is presented in the terms of extensive benefits to all parties involved, from the borrower, the insurer, and the lender.
