As the founder of Noir Training, he leverages over a decade of specialised security experience to provide tactical training and security consulting for various clients and organisations. His approach is defined by a “boots-on-the-ground” perspective, ensuring that strategic planning is always rooted in operational reality.
His background is anchored in his service as a Navy SEAL (2009–2015). During his tenure with SEAL Team 4, Colton completed two deployments covering Afghanistan, Germany, Romania, Italy, and Uganda. Following his military service, he transitioned into maritime security as a contractor with the Trident Group, where he spent four years protecting U.S. vessels throughout the Horn of Africa, the Indian Ocean, and the Arabian Peninsula. These experiences forged a discipline and a capacity for rapid problem-solving that he applies to every professional engagement.
What sets Colton apart is his extensive history in the technical trades and manufacturing sectors. Before his military career, he worked as a professional plumber and also received vocational training in manufacturing engineering, machining, welding, and electrical systems.
